First Home Buyer Loans: questions, answered simply.
How much deposit do I need as a first home buyer?
Many lenders prefer 20% to avoid Lenders Mortgage Insurance, but buyers also purchase with smaller deposits using LMI or eligible government schemes. A broker can show what suits your situation.
What is pre-approval?
Pre-approval is a lender's conditional indication of how much they may lend you. It is not a guarantee and is subject to conditions and a final assessment.
